Flowfinity Actions provides an end-to-end solution for orchestrating people and their information flow including:

• Data Access - connect people to information and templates for contributing information to key business processes.
• Work Assignment - direct the activities of people in the field.
• Work Progress Visibility - get real-time views of work assignments, completion status, or any other indicators of how people are progressing with the assigned work.
• Reports on Business Outcomes - view reports on work completed, data collected, and any other key performance indicators.

Easy and Fast to Install

The application server installs behind your corporate firewall and connects to your BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Typically the installation takes less than 30 minutes and does not require any costly programming or integration. The Flowfinity Client is installed over-the-air onto each handheld to make each user ready to receive forms.

From Manual Paper Process to Electronic Work Management System in Minutes

From a PC in your office, you can use a web browser to connect to the application server. Through that web interface, you can choose the data fields and views you require to automate data access and information flow. The template editor is very easy, no technical knowledge is required to complete the creation of a view, form or process, and typically a business user or manager will be the creator.

Once the business process is captured by a template, you can choose which users or groups of users will have access to this template. When you publish the template, it is automatically deployed to the handhelds of those users you granted access for. Via a secure wireless connection the template description and any required data is copied to memory storage in each of those handhelds.

Assignment of Work to Field Personnel

Either from a PC in the office or from a BlackBerry handheld, any business manager can create jobs, manage job queues, assign jobs, or re-assign jobs.

Accessing Data and Doing Work - Anytime, Anywhere, Even Offline

Since the templates for views and data are stored on the device and don't need to access the network every time you need them, just click on the Flowfinity icon and you will see a list of templates that have been published for you. Upon selecting a template, you can begin interacting with data, views and processes. When interacting with data, any changes to or additions of information requires confirmation - simply click on submit and your data will be stored locally on the device and queued up for over-the-air delivery to your home office. If you have network connectivity, the data is sent immediately. If your device is offline due to intermittent network connectivity (ie. you are in an elevator), then the Flowfinity software will wait until it detects connectivity and then will automatically send the data.

Gaining Visibility to Work Progress and Status

Flowfinity Actions makes all your work data centralized in a single database. Current work progress and status information is accessible from desktop via Internet Explorer, from handhelds using real-time push technology and using reports. Alerts notify users of critical events and notifications inform customers of current status via email, fax and sms messages.

Viewing Reports Using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services

Actions provides a set of SQL views based on template configuration. SQL Server Reporting Services is a robust reporting system included with SQL Server 2005 that provides flexible reporting capabilities for Actions users. Reports are authored using Business Intelligence Studio. Reports can be viewed using Internet Explorer or shared as PDF documents. Export to Excel allows further analysis of data in the reports.
