Sales Account Manager

Job Summary

This new key role will manage and grow revenue from existing allocated customer accounts and follow up on new allocated leads to achieve customer satisfaction and help contribute towards quarterly revenue targets

Reports to: Sales Director

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Monitoring, managing and growing the ongoing relationship with assigned existing customer accounts to ensure Flowfinity Actions continues to meet their needs, that they renew their existing contracts and to identify additional revenue opportunities
  • Pursuing assigned sales prospects and lead generation activities to qualify valid opportunities and following through with them to bring them on as new customers of Flowfinity
  • Communicating with customers and prospects to help them solve business problems through the use of Flowfinity Actions, obtain value and be happy long term customers of Flowfinity. The Sales Account Manager has the primary responsibility for communications with allocated customers on behalf of Flowfinity.
  • Planning and organizing work to make best use of time to achieve at least target sales results
  • Performing account administration maintenance duties where required such as monthly invoicing, working with customer procurement departments etc.
  • Communicating with internal departments including Professional Services, Marketing and Product Management to share customer feedback and arrange for the best solutions for customers
  • Act as the customer’s advocate to ensure Flowfinity products and services are delivered to meet their needs with the highest quality and to their satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain the information about prospects, opportunities and customers using the Flowfinity systems provided
  • Participate in the development of sales support materials of various types to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process
  • Show an initiative and commitment to drive results whilst being a contributing team member
  • Identify opportunities for self-development, in conjunction with your supervisor, to continually improve your ability to perform your role and prepare yourself to take on new roles in the future

Territory: Americas

Compensation: Base plus quarterly bonus

Qualifications: Two years software sales experience with achievement of assigned sales quota, related post-secondary education and ability to work in a team
