Job Summary

Flowfinity is looking for a skilled and experienced enterprise software sales person to contribute to revenue growth targets through sales to new customers. This role is primarily office-based and focused on medium and large enterprises across the Americas. You will find yourself working with business managers and analysts looking to improve their business processes, and with IT professionals who are tasked with building mobile business process applications for internal business units. Flowfinity is enterprise grade software for building end-to-end business process applications faster. It enables both business analysts and application developers create sophisticated workflow solutions with a point-and-click interface, not code, significantly reducing deployment time and maintenance costs of mobile business process applications. Based on a foundation of mobile technology, Flowfinity combines web-based application building tools, a cloud database, dashboard reporting, and cross-platform mobile apps for smartphones and tablets.

The Business Development Manager will work with a small team of professional peers in a collaborative, flexible and results driven work environment. Primary responsibility will be for attracting new customers to the Flowfinity platform.

Offices are located near Granville Island with free parking and convenient to public transportation.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Pursuing assigned sales prospects and lead generation activities to qualify valid opportunities and following through with them to bring them on as new customers of Flowfinity
  • Communicating and consulting with prospects to understand their needs and show them how they can solve their business process problems through the use of Flowfinity Actions
  • Planning and organizing work to make best use of time to achieve at least target sales results
  • Performing account administration maintenance duties where required such as monthly invoicing and working with customer procurement departments etc. to secure revenue
  • Communicating with internal departments at Flowfinity including Professional Services, Marketing, Customer Success and Product Management to share customer feedback and arrange for the best solutions for customers
  • Act as the customer's advocate to ensure Flowfinity products and services are delivered to meet their needs with the highest quality and to their satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain the information about prospects, opportunities and customers using the Flowfinity systems provided
  • Participate in the development of sales support materials of various types to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process
  • Show an initiative and commitment to drive results whilst being a contributing team member
  • Identify opportunities for self-development, in conjunction with your supervisor, to continually improve your ability to perform your role and prepare yourself to take on new roles in the future


  • At least five years enterprise software sales experience selling to businesses with achievement of assigned sales quota
  • Formal sales process training
  • Related post-secondary education
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Business process analysis experience a plus
  • Familiarity with the software development process a plus
