Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Description

Flowfinity Wireless is seeking an enthusiastic and technology-savvy Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist will assist in creating persuasive marketing content that generates demand.

This is a full time position at the company's office near Granville Island in Vancouver, BC.

About You

You have an aptitude for understanding enterprise customer needs, and are able to learn and write about the benefits of software products from a customer-centric perspective. You are an engaging storyteller, and a fast learner who is comfortable with new technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with campaign planning and execution
  • Create effective website content that converts
  • Write compelling blog posts and case studies
  • Assist in producing premium assets and thought leadership content such as eBooks, white papers, videos and presentations
  • Work with our Digital Strategist to coordinate and plan social media campaigns
  • Communicate with product experts and customers
  • Produce content for landing pages, lead generation campaigns and e-newsletters
  • Assist in maintaining and optimizing marketing automation campaigns
  • Write copy for PPC ads
  • Maintain and update marketing collateral
  • Create new marketing/sales support collateral as needed
  • Manage marketing lists and perform other administrative duties as required

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Highly developed editing, copywriting skills, and/or creative writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally with clients
  • Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently motivated with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with popular social media platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML an asset
  • Experience with marketing automation software an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or other field combined with relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a B2B marketing role or internship an asset
  • Highly developed editing, copywriting skills, and/or creative writing skills
