Food Brokerage Company Selects Flowfinity Mobile Apps for Retail Execution Management

Food Marketing Inc. cuts operations costs and saves up to 60% of staff time with retail audit and timesheet apps on Samsung Galaxy tablets

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 18, 2012 - Flowfinity Wireless Inc., a proven provider of enterprise mobile applications, today announced that Food Marketing Inc., a Florida-based food brokerage company, has launched Flowfinity mobile apps to manage retail merchandising and field staff performance as they conduct 350 retail audits each week in over 1900 major grocery chains.

Food Marketing needed a way to improve on their paper-based method of recording retail audit observations in stores. Using Flowfinity mobile apps, sales reps now enter store data on their tablets such as out-of-stocks, shelf tag status and number of items in the store. If required they can also take a photo of the shelf and attach it to the audit form. Overall, changes to the retail audit process have led to 20% time savings by staff in the field and 60% savings in supervisors' time.

Audit results are now submitted immediately to head office for real-time insight into store conditions.
